Junior Lessons

ABOUT SARAH
Sarah has been one of the Assistant Golf Professionals at Finkbine since 2022. She is a native of Iowa City, graduating from Iowa City High School (16’) before playing golf for the Hawkeye women's team for five years while earning a degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Sports and Recreation Management at Iowa. During college she worked at Pleasant Valley Golf Course, assisting golf shop operations and junior golf programs.
Following graduation from Iowa in 2021, Overton spent the summer as a camp counselor in Northern California and the winter as an aquarist intern at the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park in Ft. Walton, FL, while also working at the golf courses of Sandestin in Miramar Beach, FL. She is currently working towards a Master's degree in Wildlife Management online.
Sarah's golf focus is with the ladies and faculty/staff leagues and couples golf. She also handles social media and marketing. When not in the golf shop you will find her on the lesson tee with junior and adult lesson programs and running the PGA Junior League.
