Junior Golf at Finkbine

Finkbine will now offer 3 different levels of junior golf lesson classes!  Whether your junior has never picked up a club before and experiencing golf for the first time, to a junior wanting to experience competitive play, Finkbine has the options for you! Classes can be taken multiple times throughout the summer. See below for brief details and links to learn more. Junior Group Lesson Classes 

For the first time, Finkbine will be following the Golf ADM (American Development Model) for junior golf lesson classes. ADM is designed to incorporate age-appropriate teaching for young junior golfers to maximize their development and potential. The goal of ADM is to create positive experiences for students of all levels based on their age and skill levels. Please note that all ages listed are guidelines and not restrictions. We hope by using this model, junior golfers will continue to be more excited and engaged about the game we love! Below are the 3 junior lesson classes we will be offering this season.

FUNdamentals:

This class is designed for the true beginner from ages 6-9. FUNdamentals focuses on the development of essential movements and motor skills through fun and dynamic activities. Students will learn the basics of the golf swing and short game skills. This stage is all about fostering a love for the game while learning golf basics as well. 

Learn to Play:

If your junior has been in Finkbine's previous "Beginner Junior Lesson" classes, this is the most similar class. In "Learn to Play", students will continue to improve their fundamental movement and golf skills while participating in friendly competitions with classmates. Juniors ages 10-13 or juniors with the basic understanding of golf fundamentals will benefit the most from this class.

Play to Compete (NEW for 2026!)

"Play to Compete" is Finkbine's newest junior class option designed for the more advanced junior/high school golfer (ages 14-17) looking to improve their technical and tactical skills. This class emphasizes purposeful and individualized practice plans as well as competitive practice scenarios to prepare athletes for higher level competition.
