Jeff Moore – PGA Director of Golf
Jeff Moore has been around the game for more than 25 years now, either playing or working at a course. He arrived at Finkbine as Director of Golf on April 1, 2010 after spending 18 years as the head golf professional at St. Andrews Golf Club in Overland Park, KS. Moore has been a PGA member for 17 years. He got his start in golf working as a cart and range guy in high school and continued working in the golf business in college. After graduating from the University of Missouri in 1990 and trying his hand at sports broadcasting, he returned back to the golf business. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my tenure in the golf business and seeing people enjoy the game through playing and lessons”, say’s Moore, “My goal is to make Finkbine Golf Course a destination location for all the Hawkeyes around the state and region.
Adam Kaufman – PGA Head Professional
Adam Kaufman is originally from Ainsworth, Iowa, where he attended Highland High School in Riverside. He attended Cornell College from 1997-2001 where he played basketball and golf and double majored in Business/Economics & Fitness. Kaufman has been in the golf business for almost 9 years now with various golf experiences including the Asst. Golf Professional at Finkbine, outside service attendant at La Quinta Resort, Mini-tour player, Asst. Men’s and Interim Head Coach for the Iowa Men’s Golf team, Asst. Women’s Golf Coach at Iowa, Head Golf Professional at Finkbine, and Interim Director of Golf at Finkbine. He is currently the Head Golf Professional with Finkbine.
Brandon Ross – PGA Assistant Professional
Brandon Ross grew up in Ankeny, Iowa where he started playing golf at the age of 12 at Otter Creek Golf Course. He attended the University of Iowa from 2003-2006 where he majored in Geography and received a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Brandon worked in retail golf sales during college and managed the Golfzilla store in Iowa City prior to becoming a member of the Finkbine Professional Staff. He is Finkbine’s merchandising manager and golf club fitting specialist and is a Certified PING Club Fitter. Brandon currently is advancing through the PGA’s apprentice program to obtain his membership status.
